Carotech To Share Latest Breakthrough In Tocomin SupraBio® Research At SupplySide MarketPlace, New York
Edison, NJ – The world’s largest and only GMP-certified palm full spectrum tocotrienol complex and mixed carotenoids producer – Carotech Inc., will exhibit at the 2012 SupplySide MarketPlace (formerly SupplySide East) from May 9 – 10, 2012, at Javits Center, New York.
Formerly known as SupplySide East Expo, SupplySide MarketPlace will bring new ideas, innovations and opportunities to global ingredient manufacturers and buyers. Carotech Inc. has been a faithful exhibitor in all the SupplySide East and West shows for over a decade.
At SupplySide MarketPlace this year, Carotech will be sharing with customers and visitors the latest clinical data of its patented and bioenhanced natural full spectrum palm tocotrienol complex – Tocomin SupraBio® vis-a-vis Tocotrieniols’ Absorption and Distribution to Vital Organs, Liver Health and Neuron-Protection / Brain Health.
A recently published clinical trial led by Prof. Chandan Sen from the Ohio State University Medical Center adds to the growing body of evidence that tocotrienols are distributed to and absorbed by vital human tissues and organs, without being affected by the presence of alpha-tocopherol. Thereby unequivocally dispelling claims that tocopherol inhibits the absorption of tocotrienols. This human study also showed that oral supplementation of bioenhanced palm tocotrienol complex significantly lowers the Model for End Stage Liver Disease (MELD) Score in end stage liver disease patients, compare to the control which was supplemented with tocopherol (the regular form of Vitamin E).
Furthermore, researchers at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Science Malaysia has recently completed a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial that shows that Tocomin SupraBio® confers potent neuroprotection in human volunteers especially in reducing the incidence and volume of white matter lesions. White matter lesions are independent risk factor to stroke. In addition, European researchers have also shown that increased blood level of all vitamin E forms (E-Complete with both d-mixed tocopherols + d-mixed tocotrienols) is beneficial to elderly people against mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s Disease.
“We are very excited and pleased to share with our customers and visitors to SupplySide MarketPlace, the latest human clinical trials that are continuously showing significant efficacies of Tocomin SupraBio® toward neuro- and liver protection,” says Bryan See, Regional Product Manager of Carotech Inc.
The patented and bioenhanced SupraBio® system (US Patent No. 6,596,306) is a self-emulsifying delivery system that guarantees consistent and increased oral absorption of each individual tocotrienol by an average of 250%. Tocomin SupraBio® is non-GMO, self-affirmed GRAS, Kosher, and Halal.
